Car modifications can be described as any changes that you make to your vehicle which will result in it looking different from how it did when it left the factory. They can be a fantastic way of personalising your car, and it’s not all about noisy exhausts and crazy paint jobs. Adding alloy wheels or having an engine tune-up also counts as a car modification. You just have to be aware that some modifications will mean higher insurance premiums, and some may even bring them down, so always contact your insurance company to find out where you stand.
